About me  This is a little info about my life. I‘ve loved small engines as long as I can remember. Over the years I’ve mostly taught myself with some help from my dad. My first big fix was when I was 12 years old. I got a broken edger out of the trash. I had to rewire the coil and clean the carb. It was running in 2 hours. Then I put it on my go cart and from there I moved on to bigger and better things. I got a lawn tractor when I was 13 and it had a bad starter and a dirty carb. I rebuilt the starter and it fired right up. now I have a 1960 Chevy c-10. You can see this in the my projects page. My dad and I started to refurbish the motor and it turned in to a complete over haul. It went from a corvette 283 with a 4 speed manual transmission to a 350 with a 700r transmission. It is now an awesome truck that I’ll be driving soon once I get my drivers license. These are just a few things about my past I thought I would share.  I haven't updated my site in a while so I thought I should add a more updated photo of myself and let you know a little about what is going on with my site and my business. I'm currently seventeen years old and I'm the one with the WANTED Shirt kneeling down next to my sister Bridget; who is sitting on my prized 8hp Mowett Mustang riding lawn tractor, my brother Austin is behind her and Jordan who is one of my very best friends, is kneeling on the other side of her. This picture was taken during the Gold Country Fair in Auburn, CA and I was lucky enough to be able to show off my Mowett Mustang riding mower with all of the other vintage tractors that were being exhibited. I currently own and operate my own Lawn Mower and Small Engine Repair business and I'm enjoying every minute of it. Each year that I'm in business I feel a great sense of pride that in this down economy, I'm able to run a thriving repair business and also help contribute to our family household so that we can maintain our family home while so many of our close friends have lost their jobs and homes. I am very grateful for the gifts and talent that god has given to me. In addition to owning a business, I belong to a vintage tractor club and I'm one of the youngest members but I really enjoy meeting, learning and talking with all of the more experienced farmers and fellow tractor buffs. Over the past couple of years I have accumulated a few vintage riding lawn tractors the first one is in the picture above its my 1960 Mowett Mustang. I have spent some time working on it so that it now mows like a champ again. I also have a 1959 Toro riding mower( I am sitting on it in the picture below, it is the little red mower) it is also a very small unit just like the Mowett and finally, I have a vintage Montgomery Wards Squire 12 garden tractor. I really enjoy fixing up these little old mowers so that I can own a part of history. I will insert a photo of all three tractors below for you to see.
